A lot of the team have worked in the Baltic Triangle area and others have come from further afield, so everyone on the team has brought with them both knowledge and contacts. Located in the Baltic Triangle, Liverpool’s creative and digital district, Space Liverpool studios are the most adaptive in the North West.
Both sites comprise over 2500 sq ft of bespoke space, attentively designed to accommodate the needs of any crew, artist, or event company. The team is fully equipped to execute your vision, specialising in everything from photography and design to production and events, and with our trusted production partners we always make Space work for you.
Our Greenland Street studio is equipped with the latest lighting and production equipment available to hire. The 900 sq ft purpose built cove is perfect for background for editorial and e-commerce shoots or to be used as a backdrop for projections at events. The space is big enough to house multiple sets simultaneously on photoshoots and up to 180 people standing for events.
Just around the corner you’ll find our Stanhope Street studio filled with natural light, industrial-chic design touches, a lift, coffee shop, fully stocked bar and much more. This studio is perfect for relaxed shoots or even better for events for up to 200 people. With the original wooden floors, and many elements upcycled from the building’s rich history there is no better place to impress your clients than Space Stanhope Street.

The Space Liverpool studio is located in the legendary Camp and Furnace building which means we also have access to their facilities which include a fully private entrance for high-profile guests and a roller shutter on the side of the building for vehicles and large pieces of equipment.
The surrounding Baltic area is also brimming with a vibrant local culture of creativity, matched with the well-priced parking and storage areas it means. Whether you need an uplifting coffee, props for set design, or locations for wrap parties we’re situated in the ultimate creative playground.
Your Space Your Way
Our experts in design, photography, lighting, art direction and original set builds are always willing to provide creative input should you shoot or event require. We can deliver concepts, post production services including photo and video editing, or simply offer advice on the best coffee shops for those early mornings. Equally, whilst we love being involved in the creative process we also appreciate that sometimes all you need is a blank canvas and a quiet space to work. If your shoot does not require any additional help then we guarantee autonomy over the Space studio, we will leave you to work privately, only entering the studio should you call us from the Zello system mounted on the wall.
Built With You In Mind
The studio was built with your crew in mind. Our custom-built infinity cove provides a seamless white background for photo shoots that require a clean aesthetic, whilst we also made sure the studio interiors differed from the cove. We designed the walls to fit the industrial setting of the iconic Camp and Furnace building to provide the perfect backdrop for adding extra texture to shots. We also have a growing selection of Coloramas available for hire at a small additional cost, with further access to difficult-to-source equipment through our roster of trusted lighting and production partners in Liverpool.
Inspired by Industry Experts
We spoke to experts in the industry when designing the styling and makeup area to determine exactly what was missing from other studios. We took those learnings and crafted a completely separate area to provide a private space for models to get ready, stylists to work and to give the crew space between set changes. One of the most striking observations was the issue of lighting, both on set and in styling areas, so we installed three evenly spaced white lights in the styling area and sourced a south-facing location for guaranteed natural light every day of the year. Another issue we identified was hidden costs at other studios, which is why we will never charge extra for the use of our rails, steamers or standard Aputure lighting and all additional costs are always confirmed before you step foot in the door.
Adaptive Space
Whilst the photography studio is an amazing shoot location, the Space team can also transform the area into an intimate event space. We work with you to source and book the best caterers for your event, curate entertainment to fit your vision, and oversee the night so you can focus on impressing your guests. The industrial aesthetic also provides the perfect setting for exhibitions, especially after our in-house lighting experts craft ambient mood lighting and trusted DJ partners create the perfect atmosphere. For events and exhibitions alike, you will be able to enjoy our bespoke Spaced Out! Pilsners and with a fully licensed bar beneath there are no limits to where your event could go.
